Waking Watch

It is a service wherein the personnel are responsible for the fire and safety issues on a day-to-day basis.

Key Holding and Alarm Response

The “Waking Watch” service was created as a direct response to the unfortunate disaster at Grenfell Towers in 2017. It is a service wherein the personnel are responsible for the fire and safety issues on a day-to-day basis.

Our wardens work closely with the local Fire authorities to professionally monitor the safety needs of the residents at their allocated sites 24/7. These wardens, sometimes referred to as “Fire Marshalls”, are trained and operate within a proprietary organizational framework that works proactively to prevent fire-related disasters.

This framework is constantly monitored, audited, and improved in real-time. Some of the universal duties performed by these guards include:

Key Responsibilities of Waking Watch Wardens:

  • Fire Exit Obstruction Management.
  • Ensuring fire extinguishers and other equipment (e.g., Break-Glass Equipment) are up-to-date and readily available.
  • Proactively managing fire hazards, including waste management of flammable and hazardous materials, and monitoring smoking areas.
  • Management of electrical units and conducting regular safety checks.
  • Fire alarm testing on a weekly basis.
  • Arranging fire drills bi-annually.
  • Compliance documentation and reporting.
